Expansive band brings all their toys on the MTS

If ever there were a McGyver of music, The Heavy Guilt's Al Howard would be it. Give the guy a box of Rice-A-Roni, a saw blade and some chains and you'll probably get a song out of it. Good thing he provides his talents to one of San Diego's most expansive bands—can you imagine if he used his powers for evil?

In this episode of A Trolley Show, The Heavy Guilt perform their epic-yet-playful "Thoughts." The empty car is the perfect space for the sing-along chorus that builds upon a stand-up bass, driving guitars and, of course, Howard's arsenal of crazy noise-makers. Just watch him perform a boombox sol at the three-minute mark and try to convince yourself that all songs wouldn't benefit from one of those.
