Blood Red Shoes are intense. Listen to their albums and you get the sense that they spend their free time talking about dichotomies, revolutions and other punk stuff that seems to have a particular fierceness when it comes from Europe. When they're unplugged, however, they trade that ferocity for melody, with very pleasant results.
In this episode of a A Trolley Show, the English duo performs "Lost Kids," which seems to constantly build toward a release that never comes, and the tension that that creates is incredibly compelling. Even the automated trolley voice sounds hesitant to interrupt.
