With a name like Kopecky Family Band, it's easy to imagine a cultish troupe of traveling musicians like Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros or a similarly unwashed group. However, not only do they appear hygienic; they also have don't have to ape the Summer of Love look and sound to present a new twist on retro music.
In this episode of A Trolley Show, the Tennessee band perform their song "Heartbeat," which sounds slightly similar to The Zombies' "Time of the Season" or another '60s-era song. Too bad that the guy in the brown hoodie remains impervious to the Family Band's efforts to include him in the snapping and hand-clapping. Major bummer, man.
