San Diego native plays 'Land of Azul' on the MTS

Dear Cody Lovaas,

Please consider that we cannot enthusiastically recommend your Trolley Show performance to anyone because anything we say about it would come from dark feelings of pitiful jealousy. We see you—a talented, golden-voiced singer—and all we see is our own decrepit mortality. We listen to your happy song, and all we think about is the extra weight we carry—literal and figurative weight from years of malnutrition and life's constant barrage of let-downs. And what's this: You're an apprentice of Jason Mraz? And you surf? And you're not even old enough to drive? Please excuse us while we take a little refuge by writing a nominally successful tweet and pretend that our best years have not already passed us by.

So, yeah, in this episode of A Trolley Show, Cody Lovaas performs "Land of Azul," and it's all right.
