San Diego band performs 'Caution' on the MTS

It's always a treat to see hometown heavyweights perform on A Trolley Show, and The Midnight Pine perform with the swagger of rock stars who don't need to prove themselves. Plus, they have Al Howard, who's rightly graced CityBeat's pages numerous times. It doesn't matter with what band he's performing, his presence and penchant for strange and unique percussion instruments always makes the show unconventional.

In this episode of A Trolley Show, the band performs "Caution," a tune that sounds like it would fit in at a seedy burlesque show. Additionally, vocalist Shelbi Bennett's soulful voice, paired with the toy piano, gives us the creeps—in the best way.
