Just like José González, Benjamin Francis Leftwich seems to use his status as a lone guitarist not to solicit sympathy ("guitar guy"), but to provide a soundtrack into isolation. His songs are haunting in a way that's both engaging and completely appropriate for this time of year.

In this episode of A Trolley Show, the U.K. artist performs "Atlas Hands," a song that's slightly reminiscent of The Shins before Zach Braff turned them into a punchline. This might be the most reverent audience we've ever seen on this show—so enraptured that the sound of the train rolling over the tracks almost becomes a second instrument.
