Best place to get a massage: Massage Envy

Photos by Alyssa Stocker-Keefe
Massage Envy, in a way, is the massage industry's answer to Starbucks: No matter what part of the county you're in, you're never too far away from one of this chain's clinics. The analogy continues: Readers tell us that Massage Envy spas are always cheap, clean and convenient, with long hours and an even longer menu of options, including Swedish massage, hot stone, acupressure, reflexology and deep tissue. In a city of spas catering to high-end tourists, Massage Envy (multiple locations, massageenvy.com) seems to have grabbed a major foothold offering many of the same high-end services, but with a more relaxed price tag (read: "under a hundred"). Also, we hear Carlos at the Point Loma location is pretty special.
