Some of the stolen gear - the left-handed Fender Stratocaster, Marshall cab (logo covered in duct tape), one of the brown suitcases, and the BOSS tuning pedal

Sean Burdeaux, the frontman of indie-rock outfit Paper Forest, lost most of his equipment on Thursday when a thief broke into his car and walked away with his Fender Stratocaster, a Marshall cab, an Epiphone tube amp, and two suitcases containing merch, cables and pedals. His car was parked outside Soda Bar, a venue in the City Heights / Normal Heights area, and the robbery happened between 1-1:20 a.m. Burdeaux says that people can check out specific specs and photos on a Facebook Notes page Burdeaux put up. Anyone who knows what happened to the items can call him at 619-743-6529. Pick up next Wednesday's issue of CityBeat to read an update on the robbery.
