The second in a series of citizen gripes recorded at Politifest

nuts2

CityBeat is often accused of being too negative, too judgmental, too nit-picky. Well you know what? Screw all you haters. Your mama's too nit-picky. Jerk-holes.

Oh. I see their point.

The fact remains, if we're irritable, it's because we live in an irritable city. At voiceofsandiego.org's Politifest on Saturday, Sept. 17, CityBeat invited folks to our booth to record short videos answering the question, "What drives you nuts?" We let them be as absurd or political as they wanted. And sure enough, they were absurd and political.

This is the second of four short videos. This one features Art Neill of New Media Rights, firefighter union leader Frank DeClercq and Frank Gormlie of OBRag.org.

Video shot by Dave Maass, edited by Andrea Aliseda.
