Eagle Rock Training Center gave Los Coyotes tribe a choice of two designs

To sweeten a 25-year land deal with the Los Coyotes tribe, Eagle Rock Training Center offered to build a children's park on the reservation.

In a sense, it's appropriate. The facility is basically a big playground for soldiers and mercenaries, so why not build a playground for the kids, too?

ERTC, a Blackwater-linked, private-military training contractor, gave the tribe a choice of two options, with a total package cost of roughly $100,000. The tribe no longer wants the playground and has been trying to evict the company since June, which you can read about in this week's issue.

But if you wonder what such a playground would look like, here are the plans that were made public record when ERTC included them in a lawsuit against the tribe.---
