Patricia Frischer wants to find out what happens when you combine scientists, both social and natural, with visual and performing artists. As the coordinator of San Diego Visual Arts Network, Frischer is one of the organizers of The DNA of Creativity, a grant-funded project that will give teams of artists and scientists seed money and ask them to come up with creative collaborations. Teams can apply at sdvisualarts.net through March 31. Find out more about The DNA of Creativity at an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at MiraCosta College in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
