5TH ANNUAL CITYBEAT 5 MINUTE FILM FESTIVAL IS BACK!


San Diego CityBeat is proud to announce the 5th Annual San Diego CityBeat 5 Minute Film Festival - a showcase for locally produced short films. This year, the festival will take place at Sunset Temple located at 3911 Kansas St, San Diego, CA 92104. Each year, approximately 100 San Diego County filmmakers submit independent films that are no longer than five minutes for consideration. Our panel of judges will choose their favorite films, which will be screened on Thursday, September 21 at the festival.



VIDEO SUMBMISSION:


Open submissions are now being accepted for the 5th annual San Diego CityBeat 5 Minute Film Festival. Submissions will only be accepted until August 25, 2017.


Films may not be longer than five minutes and must not contain any copyrighted material, including music.


Winning entries will be announced on September 5, 2017.


Grand Prize winner will receive a Go Pro from George’s Camera!

FILM FESTIVAL:


Thursday, September 21 — Doors will open at 7 p.m. with a short reception of filmmakers and guests, followed by the screening of the chosen festival films.


This year, the festival will take place at Sunset Temple located at 3911 Kansas St, San Diego, CA 92104.


Arrive early, seating is limited. Additional standing room areas available after seating is full. Must be at least 18 years of age to attend. All ticket sales are final. No refunds for any reason. 


Advance tickets are only $15 until August 18; $17.50 from August 19-September 20; and tickets at the door will be $20. Click here to purchase tickets.
